You guys enjoying this one? i am this Eagles team was a great Defense and #1 offense and seattle just looks like the better team top to bottom ( minus these LONG 3rd down conversions )

Gotta come up and give credit when credit is due. Really didn't think this team would rise to the challenge and boy did they. Wilson was magical and that defense stopped one of the top teams in the league this year and held them to just 10 points.

What a statement game by a team declared all but out of it by so many.

What a very good game by the Hawks. Our defense is playing really well, despite not having Sherman and Chancellor. I know they gave up 400 yards, but a lot of that didn't hurt them at all. They held the Eagles to under 100 yards rushing (first time since week 1).

Offense looked good too, as Davis is the first back to have a 4.0 ypc in a game with 15+ carries since Carson went down.

I also see that Snuggles didn't whine this game, so it's a win win.

I've been more than a bit negative myself lately and it's really nice to have a game with nothing to be negative about.

I was really nervous. This coulda been a game that highlighted everything wrong with this team - but they played very well. The line wasn't even as bad as they have been - when taking into account just how good Philly's DLine is. Still not good enough - but there were only a few plays where Russell had no chance (instead of a dozen).

I'm just glad they avoided losing their 3rd straight home game, which would've been the first time since losing 5 straight in 2008.

Now i know the Eagles had more yards and a pretty good 3rd down conv rate but they were trailing the WHOLE game. Seattle put up 10 on the Eagles as and then said catch us. The defense did bend but didn't break as the Eagles were 0-2 in the redzone where The Hawks were 3 of 3 in the Redzone.

Also a HUGE thing was 5 penalties in this game THAT IS HUGE!!! The Hawks only committed 5 total penalties for 46 yards. Had they did their normal 10 for 120+ yards they might have lost. Nice to see the clean play. To bad about the Washington and Atlanta games because those two loses are big right now. Seattle would be Holding the #1 seed in the NFC!

For how BAD this team has been in many games this year they do seem to be turning the corner like they always do this time of the year.

People talk about how Russ is making his claim for MVP. And it is a legitimate claim.

But Bobby Wagner is, IMO, DPOY. He is just a monster this year. Not quite Ray Lewis level but sniffing it. IMO, tonight was his bet performance.
