Great tourney by Jason Day!

I'm gonna go get liquored up a bit and I'll come home in a couple hours to try to make sense of the scoring for this pool.

I never get tired of seeing a first time winner of a major sinking his last putt.

When I went to the PGA Championship in Medinah we just walked in for one of the practice rounds and Tiger was coming up a hole nearby so we went over right away to see him. Just as we're walking up some lady who was probably about 50 years old runs out into the center of the fairway and picks up Tiger's ball. I'll never forget it because she was completely just out of her mind as soon as she saw his ball land.....she went full retard and got a big goofy grin on her face and hauled ass towards his ball.

Some other guy ran out and bear hugged her before she could go any further. But I mean, wtf? How do people get so weird around famous people? She didn't even know what in the fuck was going on as soon as she saw his ball land out there, just lost her shit.
Some pople get their sense of self worth by things their heros do because they cannot accomplish anything themselves. Those type people see a victory by their idol as a victory for themselves, as if they did something well other than just root for the guy.

Finally Day gets one. And what a tournament. He crushed that course.

Golf is in a pretty damn good spot. Speith is a must watch and there's loads of young guys out there in his age range to give him a challenge.

The field has never been stronger. There are so many talented young golfers capable of winning.

Agreed. That is what makes Spieth's run this year so impressive. I'll be interested to see how he comes back next season.

Yeah, its pretty cool. Can't help but get a little misty eyed watching them lose their shit

That was a great ending. Congrats to Day and Spieth. When -17 is not good enough to win a major it means it was quite the tournament.

Yeap, and that is why we see people running to the ball if it is hit into the crowd. Most of them are there to try and keep people like that from messing with the ball.

It does look funny though. How they run up to the ball and stand there. Also, many of them want a good spot to watch the golfer hit the ball. They will be right next to it and they will most likely get air time on TV, if the golfer is a factor in the tournament.

A few factors.

Oh Man, I fucked up!

It has been brought to my attention that I messed up the math on one of our contestants scores and it does in fact affect the winner and runner-up that I announced last night.

It turns out that R.J. MacReady had the low score of -61 and is the winner and Poprocksandcoke is the runner-up with a score of -60.

Unfortunately, this bumps Win TWINS!!! from the podium.

Terribly sorry fellas, it was a very long day yesterday.

I gotta say I'm ashamed to tell you that I screwed up the math on one persons scores and it affects you.

R.J. MacReady had a low total of -61 and that makes him the winner. That bumps Poprocksandcoke to 2nd place with his -60 and unfortunately bumps you out of the prize money.

Sorry for giving you the big tease with incorrect information.
