THANK GOD that is the 1st step. I do want to point out that the offense only had 7 points in the 1st half but 2 turnovers didn't help. I really don't blame Kelly in the 1st half its the 2nd half that pissed me off. Kelly gave up. He run calls made no sense, his not going for it killed this team. In no way u trust this D.

Any real ND fan woulda/shoulda known this year's D, once again, was gonna be an issue ... an Achilles heel, so to speak.

Go back and see BK's post-Texas press conference. He started getting questions about the defense and said it's too early to say there's a problem with the defense. To "pump the brakes". He said if it was week 10 and we were still having these issues then he'd answer questions about the defense. Easily one of his most tone-deaf performances.
