My mother and father meet at OU and watched Bud Wilkinson coach Oklahoma.
My whole family is OU.
I was an Oklahoma fan before I was born.
Went to Oklahoma when Barry Switzer was coaching.
Some great games.

All TV now though.

My favorite two teams are Nebraska and whoever is playing Notre Dame.

My two favorite teams every weekend in the fall are whoever is playing Notre Dame on Saturday and whoever is playing the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

You took offense to one part of my original post and focused on that and losing the premise of the entire post.

It's obvious to me that you are merely butt-hurt over the perceived attack on your beloved Irish schedule. When in all actuality I was, in fact, attacking the program itself. I hate the entire program. Whether they are playing Army or a perinial powerhouse. They are the epitome of underachieving mediocrity.

Mine is for basketball. We didn't have any D1 schools in state when I was a kid. We had family friends who were huge duke fans. I tagged along as a duke fan. The greatest college basketball game ever happened and somewhere in the middle I became a fan of Mashburn and Kentucky. It stuck.

I was 8 years old and had just started playing Jr. All-American Football. My Uncle worked for a newspaper and hooked my Dad up with 2 tickets to a USC game.

I don't even remember who they played. I just remember hearing the band start up, saw Traveler and Tommy Trojan go out to midfield and stick the sword into the ground, saw the team run out of the tunnel and I was hooked before the game even started.

Born and raised Nebraska fan, but growing up I picked one team from each power five that I always rooted for. I was too young for the Elite 8 (seen plenty of games, but only after the fact), so most of my memories come from Big 12 to nowadays.

So growing up I rooted for...

Big 12 - Nebraska
PAC 10 - UCLA
Big 10 - Michigan St
SEC - Georgia
ACC - Clemson

As an adult, Nebraska is the only team I root for to win games but I do root for others to lose lol, so take it however you want.
