Agreed. One small step for the team, one giant leap for the program, haha (it could be worse). That's as jazzed an atmosphere the stadium has radiated in quite some time (there were moments during the Nuts' game last season). But we may have to go clear back to UTL 2...or even UTL 1. These night games have been a success in many ways.

Obviously, we still need improvement on the OLine (all 5 linemen have glaring issues --- still too soft, too slow, play too high, miss assignments, improper use of hands and feet, etc..) but I think we may see more of the quick and slashing Justice Hayes. He's our most versatile back (vision, speed, hands, blocking) and fits better with what we can accomplish offensively. We simply can't play manball right now, and considering our remaining schedule, there's no reason even trying to run teams over.

We have the bye week to get everyone (especially Gardner, Funchess, Peppers hopefully, Morris - may need him, etc...) close to 100% and a Nussmeier gem to compete in EL.

This is such a great group of kids (and a coaching staff that does mean well) it'd be a shame not see them pull enough together to grind out 3 more Ws.
