LMAO people actually think this is a good signing for Denver? They'll be in for a surprise.

Bold prediction:

Peko doesn't make the Broncos' roster out of camp. We re-sign him Week 3 for the minimum once Billings or someone inevitably gets hurt.

Do you have a minute to talk about Joe Burrow?

Finally this bum is gone. Can't wait to see Billings. This soften the blow of losing Whitworth and Zeitler.

I like the 2nd signing much more than the 1st. Broncos are not done at the NT/DE position so just have to see what Peko can do. Veteran presence for the DL is about the big positive I can say.

This is hilarious given that Peko was 'captain' and 'leader' of our team.

Though I'm already on record as stating that I think we're going to stink this season, I'd love to see how people re-interpret Whit and Peko if this team finally wins a playoff game the year they leave.

Exactly.

If there was a message in the locker-room, then he was a part of that message. If he didn't like it, then as a captain, he should have changed it. Except, he was one of the very ones pushing the message.

Moron.

so, is he their backup fullback? if they were serious about winning the superbowl he would not be their choice for starting Nose Tackle, that's for damn sure.

Not sure he ever was a really good player. He had flashes early in his career, but the fact of the matter is, his metrics from PFF are not kind, if you put stock into those sort of things.

He's ranked in the 50's, and recently in the 40's by PFF. For comparison, Atkins ranked 90 and high 80's. So, average would be in the 70's. Peko is not even close.

I think he was an important guy to have on the team in 2011. That team was in serious transition and couldn't practice in the offseason. Not sure if its true, but most of the local writers credit Peko and Whit with keeping the team together.

But over the last few years he's been a liability on the field and he hasn't exactly been keeping the troops in line. In fact, he was one of the guys that lost his cool in that playoff game.

This is a very very good point.
I'm always watching when a team lets a good player or "leader" go, and then they do better without them.

Players say it's about winning...but they generally go to the team that offers the most money. Aka Whitworth to the Rams. Zeitler to the Browns.

Peko is a clown. Who cares what that washed up tub of goo says? He should be thanking the high heavens that the incompetent Brown family walk this earth. They gifted him a 10 year NFL career. If he played for any other team, he'd have been cut and out of the league 4 years ago.

Peko is a pussy. We'll see if he even makes the Broncos.
