Yeah, the defense showed up, but that Bama D was too much with their guys running by the Washington offensive linemen like they were standing still.

Yep, Alabama is really good upfront... You can't run on them either...

Good comment. I still like the Huskies in the North, but damn anything can happen in the PAC 12.

Yeah, it's way too early right now. No one picked UW to be here last year at this time, but the signs were there that they weren't far off.

It's still down to the QB position and outside of Oregon and USC's young ones I'm not sure anyone else added one that appears ready to carry their team to that next level. And of course Oregon has way too many things going against it with the coaching turnover.

Some team will surprise people I'm sure. Not sure which one now though.

Browning will get stronger for one thing. His O-Line also has some young, growing pieces that are getting stronger and better. He improved by leaps and bounds from his true freshman season last year. Now he's got another year of experience under his belt, and some experience on the bigger stages of college football. I'm not seeing any reason for pessimism about Browning's future.

I agree, there were several times today where Browning should/could have rolled out and thrown the ball away, instead of getting sacked.

Washington was a good team. I have to give them credit to see them make it to the CFP Semifinals, playing against the best team in the country. Props to Petersen on getting them there.
