I just don't see how this organization is going to rebuild a line within one or two seasons. Unless we're more willing to dip into free agency than we have been in the past, it seems like an impossible task. If we were to build through the draft, we'd need at least three new lineman next year.... And I just don't see how you can start two rookie tackles in the NFL.

Our best hope would be to overpay at least one offensive tackle and draft another in rounds 1 or 2. We'll probably have to live with our crappy center for one more year and hope one of the guys currently on the team can win the second guard position.

I also think its time to move on from Paul Alexander. He might have had success in the past, but he has to be held accountable for the failures of our recent draft picks.

yea, with our luck, we draft 3 OL, one gets injured, the other doesn't catch on, and we get one above average OL out of it.

I was talking to a friend of mine recently that is a lifelong Giants fan. He's a guy in his 40s that grew up in the New York Metro area. Anyway, the Giants are having a horrible season and have been pretty disappointing the last few seasons. He told me he wasn't too concerned though..... The Giants have been down before. But they have a good organization and he knows it won't be long before they are relevant again and successful.

How fucking novel is that? Complete faith in your organization to correct itself. That must be really nice.

these teams are on a cycle, our cycle just tops out at "making the playoffs" or "being .500"

Remember when John Kitna was the answer to our offense? People were optimistic about that shit too.

this organization is retarded.

I think Jones really loved the idea of replacing Megatron. He was probably not coming back anyways.

he was a legit threat here, our staff held him back most of the time.

He was always going to be no.2 in Cinci behind Green. In Detroit we have A1 and A2 w him and Tate.

He also has a qb that can actually lead him and let him use his speed. Dalton doesn't exactly possess a cannon.

Exactly. This one I don’t really blame the Bengals for. They offered pretty much the same contract as Detroit. He wanted to be a #1 receiver and get more targets. Can’t fault a guy for wanting a better opportunity to prove his game.
