I think KC could finish 8-8, maybe 9-7....

Raiders and Chargers there at 7-9 or 8-8.

Broncos bringing up the rear at 5-11 or 6-10.

There playing against the Rai ers Defense, he may look like the second coming of Elway if only for one day.

I remember the scouting reports about him coming out of college. Physically gifted but the most raw of the 1st round QBs taken and a long term project. He looked like he had a long way to go in the preseason game I watched. I did not want the 49ers to draft him after we ended the Kaep era

This a 6 week plan, I know people will be shitting all over him if he doesn't kill it this week but the key is to show improvements every week, if he looks better in week 17 than he does this week then I think Denver can role with him next year.

Also people seem to forget what the word development means. When he was drafted everyone from coaches to scouts to whoever agreed he needed 3 years to develop and yet people are calling him bust and saying we should move on after a year and half. It's like if a teacher gives you 3 months to do a project she can't all of a sudden give you a write up and detention if it's not done in 2 months.

You've got six weeks to prove the Broncos right
so it's your time to prove you can take the bullets . Good luck, young man. You will need it!

Just realized there's a pretty high chance of Week 17 being Mahomes vs Lynch...

THAT would be a pretty interesting story line leading up to the last regular season game of the year! Would Mahomes be playing for a "resting for the playoffs" Alex Smith or would he be replacing Smith?

Barring injury, It'll be Alex in the Playoffs.

But the Chiefs aren’t playing well enough to where they can rest their quarterback and have it not affect the team. I mean how many 9-7/10-6 teams rest their quarterback the final game of the year?

As I mentioned in another thread- I really, really, really doubt the Chiefs continue to play this poorly, particularly offensively. 10-6 and 11-5 is a lot more likely than 9-7 given the schedule. The Chargers and Raiders are not really much of a threat to the division, imo. Just a question of if the Jags secure the 3 seed or not.

As for 9-7, it's entirely possible that's what happens.

I think it was, "you are what your record says you are"....And in the standings, that's true, but not in totality....
Bad breaks, Bad calls, major injuries and cheating could easily mar the truth of it all....
Denver still has a very good D and some very good O weapons, if this kid just has the knack of winning and sparks that team, especially the D/ST to get him turnovers and short fields, it could quickly turn around for them....
I think it was a must do move at this point and kudos to them for acting on it now instead of giving excuses and talking out both sides of their mouth like our F.O and most others do.....

Denverhas a lot of the pieces - what they seem to lack is heart. Maybe it's the chemistry.
I see a whole lot of sulking going on. Someone has to snap them out of it!!!!!

Actually, it gave me inspiration to make one huge enchilada next time in the kitchen, instead of a bunch of little ones.

That's called enchilada casserole.
People that don't know Mexican food should like it.....

I don't know much about that HC, but he seems too soft judging by his demeanor...Maybe he is the problem, but yeah I think they have kicked it into cruise control because of the offense....I don't know how my boys haven't done the same with the terrible play calling and game planning on the O side, but somebody motivated them to step it up last Sunday.....Hope it sparks a run in them !!!!:hope::D
