Your better half and mine might be sisters. Nothing makes mine madder than a goalie out of the crease.

If they are sisters, then accept my condolences on the mother in law.

I remember my formative years and watching Jon Casey roam outside the crease on a consistent basis - usually ended with a red light.

/I said usually as this was the 80's Norris so it's possible a scrum broke out before it cost the North Stars a goal

I loved Jon Casey. He played in Baltimore when I was like 15 and I thought he was awesome. My mom was a bus driver and would drive the Skipjacks Club to games and I usually got to go. My impressionable young mind tried like hell to emulate him. Even met him a few times, really nice guy.

Then, next year that weird lanky kid named Patrick Roy showed up and changed the way I viewed goaltending.

Now, looking back I realize that Casey did everything I always tell the goalies I coach NOT to do.
