Day to Day
Rumor circulating around the Boston area is that the Patriots may be bringing in Colin Kaepernick as the back up to Tom Brady. NESN is reporting the rumor.
p.s. Brian Hoyer is available.
Because they didn't want Hoyer's contract. If you're gonna bring in Hoyer, then why not put him in the trade? Might have been able to bundle Hoyer with a 3rd and not a 2nd.

Evidently it may have cost them a comp pick as well.
How so? Comp picks don't have anything to do with trades.
And if he were to do that he would be wrong for that.I think signing Kap would be good for Pats PR as well as good for the NFL as a whole. If there is anywhere he could sign and not have it create a media circus it is NE.
As long as he is told "Stand, put your hand over your heart and smile at old glory".
Wow. Never heard that before, thanks. That's a fucked up rule, though.

That's the dumbest thing I ever heard - even on SportsHoopla.
We got Hoyer for free.
Most are thnking we should have gotten more for Garappolo.....
Maybe we could have gotten a 4th string guy on IR, we could have bundled them all for a 6th?????
