Day to Day
Another first for Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.
Tom Brady completed the first football pass ever thrown on The Great Wall of China yesterday. He went to China to introduce the TB12 Brand, the TB12 Under Armor Brand and the Uggs Brand. Thousands of Chinese fans were on hand to celebrate and Brady brought the SBLI Trophy for everyone to see and touch.
At the same time, the Patriots were selling the NFL to hundreds of Chinese businessmen and women but more importantly, selling the Patriots as the team that would love to have China as a second home. Typical Kraft genius, selling the Patriots to the Chinese as ""THEIR"" team. Needless to say, Patriots clothing was flying of the racks and shelves in China yesterday.
Now the Patriots will sell China as another piece of the dollar pie and start the ball rolling to play at least one game there every year. That game will be followed by a "bye" week for both teams involved.
How long would it take China to build a 200,000 seat football stadium that would make anything ever built in the US look like a piece of crap??? The Patriots just pulled off a trillion dollar sales pitch.
