Honestly guys, I'm not surprised. It pains the HoF committees and voters to have to acknowledge the greatness of this franchise. I even read an opinion piece who said TD getting in lowers the bar for the HoF. I'm glad when our guys do get in, but I never it expect it to actually happen.

I always feel bad for a guy that gets in after they pass . In Bowlens case , if the ALS is as advanced as they say, I think next year will be too late. Not sure even now he could comprehend or relish it today. Will mean a lot to family,friends,players , fans, Organization and his fellow peers when it does happen though.

This is a good point. To me when the guy that is the consultant/contributor to the voters directly was mentored by one of the guys being voted on (and is the one who won) that is just not a great look for the HOF. I hate how the NFL makes the votes so secretive. I love that baseball makes the voters have to show how they voted. Keeps them accountable to scrutiny.

Agree about the pending POTM but it may have to wait for Draft Crazy's long overdue anointment.
