Don't see they carrying only 6 relievers considering the starters have lasted only 5+ innings recently.
Buck should've pulled Wright after 4 innings and gone all-in with bullpen. But he had to waste O'day and others in the 2 blowouts.

On the year Parmelee is hitting .312 6HR 32RBI .381 OBP Last 10 games .295 2 HR

So I would think you have to give him a shot to see what he can do instead of letting another team sign him. O's are carrying 12 pitchers so I don't think they'll get rid of anyone there.

As for hitters that might be cut;

Pearce; .212 6HR .283 OBP 22RBI last 15 games; .262 2HR 7RBI
Lough; .233 2HR .270 OBP 3RBI last 15 games; .167 1 HR 1RBI
Snider; .254 1HR .327 OBP 14RBI last 15 games; .220 0HR 5RBI
Young; .283 2HR .305 OBP 15RBI last 15 games; .273 2HR 4RBI

Don't see them cutting Young, pearce offers the most power, Lough best defense and baserunning, Snider actually has the best on base but no power. Lough has more homers than him in way less at bats. I would guess it would be Snider if they bring Parmelee up.

1. So they actually optioned Chen instead. Interesting choice... I guess it makes sense as a means to give him extra rest while also avoiding the Blue Jays, which leads the league in OPS vs. LHP. (Based on the schedule, it seems that Chen would miss only one start.)

Well Parmelee has one hell of a debut. Hopefully he'll play well and help us out.

As for the moves after, someone will have to go for both Chen and Schoop when he's ready. Don't know how many teams would want Lough of Snider. Their both cheap so they have that going for them.

i think they maybe shopping chris , nolan ,young , lough , pearce and jimmy . for the right deal i could see us moving brach , tommy , roe , matusz , bud and even chen . what about selling davis ?
