What the hell is taking so long? This organization has become the joke of baseball. They can't draft worth crap. They have quite possible the worst DSL team in all of baseball. They've only got 9 wins so International players aren't their thing either.

Being cheap doesn't help. A number of people have told the Padres they weren't interested in the job. They've interviewed 8 people. The trade deadline is a couple of weeks away. We've got three guys doing the job right now. This isn't a good thing. What a joke.

The problem I have is I don't trust the people in the front office now. It's difficult to have faith in the organization when you don't believe the people running it have a clue about what they're doing.

As bad as they are, we have some damn fine pitching. It could be much worse and appears headed in the right direction. I have hope.

First-half of season? Statistically very close. Let's see what happens in the second half. Carlos Quentin has been an almost total waste of money and Cameron Maybin has just never developed. It's so frustrating.

I don't know what the problem is, but the Padres seem to have a problem developing hitters. Petco helps are pitching staff in a big way. Balsley is a great pitching coach. Black is great with the pitching staff as well. Our biggest issue is the lineup. Losing coaches & scouts to the Cubs & Tigers hasn't helped either. We need a complete overhaul. The new GM hire is a huge move. I just don't trust the people in charge to make the right choice. They haven't done anything right yet.

Apparently they want somebody who's good at signing guys on the international market. If this is true, Preller from the Rangers will probably get the job.

We'll see how things work out. Apparently a bunch of people from the Rangers Preller wants to bring with him are going to allow their contracts to expire before joining the Padres organization.

I know he is extremely well respected within the Rangers organization. I have heard nothing negative about him over the last few years.

Preller seems to be well thought of by many. The proof is in the pudding though. This is the first time he's been in charge. I have high hopes for him.
