Tee Martin signs an extension to stay on and be OC. I hope they stop with the you call the first play he will call the second play and he calls the third downs. Let Tee run the shit and see why he got so much interest from NFL teams.

Agree. I don't mind the Head Coach having "veto power" over plays that are called, but if you are the head coach, then be the head coach and let your coordinators run the the offense and defense.

Imo, if you don't trust your coordinators to run things, then you shouldn't have hired them in the first place.

Man I hope they adjust the offense and do more check downs and screens with with Carr at RB this next season. That kid has skills as a receiver kinda like Kamara in New Orleans.

Agree. In the Pete Carroll era, they always had backs who were threats as receivers out of the backfield. Not just Reggie Bush either. I remember a lot of big plays made by fullbacks out of the backfield. Also, the tight ends were used more.

I'd like to see more of that. Especially fullbacks out of the backfield. They used to do that just enough to have an impact on the games, but not so much that a defense ever really keyed in on it.

Exactly. With the WRs USC will now have you're gonna get some Linebackers trying to cover the backs and the fullback has always been good for a few clutch catches when the USC offense is run correctly. I hear Keary Colbert is the new TEs coach. I like that addition. I was hoping Kennedy Polamalu could find his way back to USC as the running backs coach but I just looked up and he's the RBs coach for the Vikings.

Well that's a hell of a promotion. Going from being the RB coach on a team that basically never runs to a team built on a diverse running first platform is a big of a step up as you can get and still have the same title.

Yeah, I think that's a great hire.

And apparently, he has done a real nice job with their RB's. So I wouldn't expect him to available anytime soon. lol

So it begins....

Their business model is broken until everyone cord cuts. The B1G, SEC and Longhorn Networks get promoted like $5 hookers on ESPN and Fox, but we don't. They need to eliminate the local stations and partner with Netflix, Hulu or Amazon Prime. They are wasting wasting too much money on production of Olympic sports for a fledgling network. They need to realize the fan base they are working with are left coasters, not southerners, midwesterners or Texans. And the biggest mistake that needs correcting is ditching the CCG from shitty Santa Clara. Rotate it between Seattle, LA, Glendale and Denver. It's again the left coasters, fan bases don't drive to games like the other conferences. Travel and production costs need to go before employees.

kiffin to WSU in less than 3 years

The way it looks like, the XFL is restarting and if they want any kind of excitement he will be the first coach hired.

4-star WR Jalen Hall (LB Poly - CA) has committed to Oregon. A heavy lean to the Ducks for months. Did visit FSU after Taggart left, but signs pointed to him wanting to stay on the west coast.
Good get for the Ducks who are desperate for WRs right now. Expect him to early enroll and will be playing this fall.

I woulndt say desperate. lots of young guys as it is. 4 of 5 leading WR returning were underclassman. leading returning TE young too. just no real game breakers

Can't really say I disagree on the rankings.
Petersen- Has he leveled off or can he take the Huskys to a higher level.
Shaw- Gets then most out of his teams most of the time but they are limited
Chip- will he try the same thing or evolve? He will get better talent but it seems likehis system was built to beat the teams with more talent. Will elite linemen want to play in a system thats not really the best for future NFL players.
Clay- do USC fans treat him like a guy whos only been a head coach for two full seasons and allow him to learn or do they expect him to hold his own because of the talent thats there (that he recruited) and not keep making the same mistakes in gameplaning against elite teams and not holding his coordinators accountable.

Ranking Pac-12 football coaches, from Chris Petersen (best) to Herm Edwards (say what?)
