Oregon is looking like a very solid team to take the PAC this year. Horton has done an amazing job in his short time with a brand new program. A man who has won many national titles at Cal State Fullerton is about to start winning some national titles at Oregon.

Ducks come into the season with some very strong pitching so I expect they take the conference. Also make a deep run at Omaha.

PAC-12 is on the rise.

I wasn't a buyer last year, but after watching them in the 2012 tournament I am this year.

Wouldn't be surprised to see USC on A down slide kiff needs to go

LOL

This is baseball mang..

USC program lost steam back in 2002.

It's a shame too, they are one of the best dynasties in college baseball.

Arizona lost a lot of talent to the draft after last season's title run. They'll have to do a little rebuilding, but I think they can still be very solid this season. They lost Heyer, Refsnyder, Mejia, Rickard, Mejias-Brean, and Brown, all huge losses, but they still have Moore, Gilbert, Field, Dixon, Maggi, and Wade, which is a solid core. And Lopez is a very good coach.

I certainly do not expect a repeat national title, and I don't even expect them to win the conference, but they should represent the PAC well again this season.

I'll be heading to my second game of the season tomorrow, Arizona vs. Arizona State. I'm pretty amped! Go Cats!

Well, that was the most boring baseball game I've ever attended. A ton of walks and hit batters, about two throws over to first per batter (and that includes batters with nobody on base), terrible umpiring, and annoying hecklers culminated in perhaps my worst baseball experience yet.

I don't even care that Arizona lost, it was a bad baseball game in general.

All that said, Arizona left a lot of opportunities on the field, including Johnny Field up twice with runners in scoring position and being unable to pull through. Gilbert had a good day, though, and Dixon had one of the unluckiest outings at the plate I have ever seen. Three very hard hit balls, right at outfielders.

Arizona will not go to Omaha this season. The pitching is way off just like
Arizona softball.

It's baseball. Anything can happen. A team can get on a hot streak this time of year and ride it all the way to Omaha. I wouldn't count them out at all.
