That organization needs an enema. Sandoval is paid - he's done trying.

He won't do it. He came to camp in shape once when he was a Giant, and that apparently pissed him off.

He is a typical million dollar body, two cent head kind of guy. He will not do what needs to be done, and the Sox will be struggling just to keep him on the roster come year 3 of that contract.

Sad what a waste of talent and opportunity. There are guys who work 100 times harder than he and wont ever see the pros because or talent or physical limitations

Exactly what most reasonable Giants fans expected.

I am surprised it went so bad so soon, though.

he got the money, Red Sox started to suck.... Can't say I'm shocked.

the Sox sucked before he came to town and he's only made it worse. This team is now a joke and the house cleaning should commence in the next few weeks.

The Giants benched him during the 2010 playoffs. He was way out of shape and couldn't hit a paper bag that year. The embarrasment of that year and pressure from the FO drove him to come into Spring Training in the best shape I have ever seen him. But as the season progressed he started putting the weight on. He just doesn't seem to have the discipline or doesn't give a crap about keeping himself in shape. He then complains about the Giants badgering him about his weight. Don't know if he is ever going to get it. Unfortunate because when he was in shape he was a really good defensive third baseman.

Yea, I thought he would want to prove himself after signing such a big contract to the Boston fans and media. Apparently not

^^^This. Summed it up pretty well. His production is almost directly related to the size of his waist and belly.

Big belly = Little Production

Little belly = Big Production

Unfortunate. He was loved by most Giants fans before he started mouthing off as he walked out the door.

I wanted him to do well so it helped the team win but I always questioned his ability to stay in shape even when he was with the Giants. That is just me though.

You are not alone. What was painful was to see him mouth off at the Giants that put him where he is now on his way out. It seems to be a pattern though, those who leave the Giants do not fair very well, probably with the exception of Kent who was still a shell of himself when compared with when he was with Giants giving the opportunity to hit because of Bonds.

The Giants made this kid who he is and he disrespects them and now the Red Sox organization. I hope this fat ass spends everything he has and gets deported. Unappreciative douche.'

He has always been overrated IMO anyway

Wow. Quite prescient.
