Odds are slim to none.

LeBron will be the best player on the court, but at least 1 of the Warrior stars will have a big series.

It would have to go to 7 games with Lebron having a crazy series and the Big 3 for GS all being average or above average like around 20 ppg or so.

Lebron got 4 of the 11 MVP votes in 2015 and he averaged 36 13 and 9.

The MVP averaged 16 6 and 4 but also was the key defender guarding Lebron so yeah basically no chance.

Not sure how you do an over/under on this btw lol

Depends, imo.

If Lebron puts up the numbers that I think we all expect and the Cavs manage to stretch this series to 6 or 7 games...I think he has an excellent chance. Especially if the Warriors stars all put up numbers that are close to each others.

But, if this series goes the 4 or 5 games that I think most of us expect...I don't think he stands much of a chance.

For The Logo to win the MVP, the following happened:

On the Celtics, only Havlicek separated himself from the rest of his team. He averaged 28.3 ppg, 11 rpg and 4.4 apg.

The rest of his team was in the 11-18 point range and the 3-5 rpg range (excepting Bill Russell who averaged 21)

The Logo averaged 37.9, 4.7 and 7.4 in an era with no 3 point shot.

The series lasted 7 games. 3 games were decide by 2 points or less, 2 more were decided by 6 points and only 1 game was won by double digits.

The numbers for the rest of the Lakers were very similar to what the rest of the Celtics did, including the rebounding exception (Wilt averaged 25).

Under similar circumstances, I think Lebron would have a great chance. I just don't see those circumstances happening.

He shoulda won in 2015. But I agree if he didn't then he won't now.

Yea won't happen. Doubt he outplays Durant either. Durant owns Lebron's mind from last season forward.

If anything Lebron QUITS on his team if they get blown out the first two games of the series. Its a mental hurdle Lebron can't overcome against a quality team like this.

Theres no Irving around to bail him out anymore

I think I disagree with this.

I always felt like The Logo got a bit of a "Lifetime Achievement Award" when he won that one.

He had an amazing finals, but he had played so well for so many years, only to have his team come up short. I think the voters wanted to acknowledge it in case he never one won.

I think that there was enough support for Lebron to win it in 2015, that if we get a similar series, Lebron will have a real good shot as his own "Lifetime Achievement Award".

He has 7-1 odds to win finals MVP which is third best. Durant and Curry have the top two odds.
