Chirinos has been a slow starter in the past

.213 in the first half versus .261 in the 2nd half

I actually do not have a problem with Chirinos. It is our announcers who throw stuff out there like him being streaky so far this year. Just say he had not done very well. You can't be streaky at .153 unless you consider 2 hits in 3 different games out of 17 1 game hot streaks.

I like him and profar a lot because they bring a different skill set to the table.

Some guys have skills that can;t be taught. DDJ is one like that.

I honestly thought the pen would be better than last year because no Dyson and they’d have diekman back, but man it stinks. Seems like several guys have regressed for sure.
