Report: Eagles sign former Chiefs cornerback to practice squad
He was rated as a good prospect a few years ago, so maybe....?

Also we could honestly be concerned about the lack of speed in our secondary.
Darby can fly, this dude can fly. Robinson is the fastest of the rest which isn't saying much.
We have so many injuries Iggy, that we could even get beat the midgets. We are paper thin at CB ans even more at safety. It makes me nervous about Sunday.
True (unfortunately). But is it worth giving up whatever we have to give up for Butler, and subsequently create a massive logjam at corner while making it impossible to fill holes elsewhere? We do not have a 2nd or 3rd in this year's draft (at best NE's 3rd, TBD this season). We cannot afford to trade away more picks for him.
Kendricks is playing great and Butler will cost a lot of coin.Kendricks for Butler trade potential?
NFL reporter says Eagles make sense as a trade partner for Malcolm Butler
I'd do it in a NY second! And, if he wouldn't sign a long term deal, they could trade him after this season. By next year we would have a very good stable of CB's: Jones; Darby; Butler; Mills; and Douglas. BAM!
