3/11 recap

Okay... It looks like a few people are starting to get tired of all these lists. Don't worry; after this afternoon they'll be LONG gone.

Now for the major tournaments, let me just list off what went down:
ACC: Duke holds off Notre Dame in the final. Are they peaking at the right time? Will they make a deep run? Or will Greyson Allen f--k it all up?
Big 12: Iowa State beats out West Virginia for their 3rd Big 12 tourney title in 4 years.
PAC-12: Arizona holds off Oregon, and maybe cliches a #1 seed in the process.
Big East: Sorry, guys. I guess it really WAS the "Villanova Invitational" after all.

And now, for everyone else:
American East: Vermont over Albany 56-53
MEAC: North Carolina Central over Norfolk State 67-59
Mountain West: Nevada over Colorado State 79-71
(I think if Colorado State had won this game, Nevada still would have gotten into the NCAA's as an at-large. So, big sigh of relief for the bubble teams.)
MAC: Kent State upsets Akron 70-65
Big Sky: North Dakota over Weber State 93-89 in OT
Southland: New Orleans over Texas A&M-CC 68-65
WAC: New Mexico State over CSU-Bakersfield 70-60
Big West: UC-Davis over UC-Irvine 50-47
C-USA: Middle Tennessee over Marshall 83-72
(Another case where the bubble teams can now breathe easier.)

Sun Belt Semifinals:
Texas State upsets UT-Arlington 83-62
Troy over Georgia State 74-63

Atlantic 10 Semifinals:
Rhode Island over Davidson 84-60
VCU over Richmond 87-77 in OT (Oh, man! If Richmond had won, it would have been a disaster for all the bubble teams!)

Ivy League Semifinals:
Princeton over Penn 72-64 in OT
Yale over Harvard 73-71

Yale vs. Princeton (12:00)

Atlantic 10 Championship:
Rhode Island vs. VCU (12:30)

Big 10 Championship:
Michigan vs. Wisconsin (3:00)
