After the ass whooping our guys took last season.......especially the Bowl humiliation(I know......we can always pull a Bama and say we weren't interested), we need something positive. Our roundball guys will do what they do, if history repeats itself(choke early in March madness). I enjoyed watching the OU girls gymnastics beat UF the other night. Especially since UF was conational champ last year. Sure, not as sweet as it would've been with Teblow in tights, but whatever.

Currently the squad is #2. Last year they ended up #3. This year they are one of the favorites to win it all.

I'm a fan of the OU men and women's gymnastics. As a student in the mid 2000s, we got into the National Championship for free at the LNC. It was awesome! I'm always keeping an eye on the gymnasts.

On a related but totally unrelated topic, at Disney's Animal Kindgom in Orlando, there is a show called "Festival of the Lion King". There are a group of performers called "The Tumble Monkeys" and their coach/director/trainer is a former OU gymnastics coach. Because of that connection, at one point 15 of the 20 performers were OU grads. At a dead spot in a performance I yelled Boomer and three of the Monkeys heads whipped around.
