The offense looks great on paper. If bell is as advetised they could be really good. We haven't had a mobile qb in a long time. The defense though just worries me. Talent isn't stellar and experience is even less.

OU hasn't had a stellar defense in years, at least nothing like Switzer's teams of the mid 80's. The last 3 years have been terrible and I don't see it getting any better this year.

I anticipate the worst but hope for the best.

I think one telling sign of the new DL talent is the fact that they moved Ndulue to DT. With the winter arrival of D.J. Ward, we're pretty deep (9) and talented at DE (only 4 DT'S though!!!).

I expect much more aggression and pursuit up front, taking into account the unknowns and perceived weaknesses in the DB. As long as it isn't a hurry-up offensive team you might see frequent subs with the DE's this year.
