Is it possible that we trade the 1st pick? The Sixers could really bulk up on picks here having the 1st overall pick? I'm not sure if Simmons is a good character guy for this franchise? I go back and forth on this guy. I don't know a ton about Ingram I admit.

Ingram gives you the inside / outside game with Okafor ... Noel can just concentrate on Defense. Embiid is playing 2 on 2's and looking really good in limited practices. Things are looking up! Simmons is excellent as well, but I think we desperately need a good shooting Wingman in today's shoot happy league. Simmons just poses no threat as a pro shooter ... not saying he won't be a good player, but without an outside shot it's going to be hard for him to be a dominant force. That being said, I'd still be almost as happy if we take him over Ingram ... just didn't want to come out of this without either the 1st or 2nd pick.

So what happens with the protected 1st pick from the Lakers? Do we get the Lakers 1st pick next season? Funny how they magically get the 2nd pick?
