I think the combined time for all these press conferences is going to be greater than the actual fight time.

This circus I wouldn't be surprised if some mystery person comes from the audience, hits a chair shot on Mayweather ending the fight.

Then the rematch will be at Mayweather/McGregor Mania II with Mayweather winning with the Gronk in his corner for protection.

Next in Mayweather/McGregor Mania III, McGregor will win to even the series but at the end of the fight the Gronk attacks Mayweather with McGregor making the save. And the two of them start to team up, I can only dream of their makeup would be Bruno-esque....

This leading to Mayweather/McGregor Mania IV where they are in a tag match against the Gronk and his mystery partner (aka the same person who did the chair shot in Mania I)

Did I do this right, just making sure? :noidea:

I could see the mystery person wearing a Donald Trump mask and he rips off his mask after Mania IV to reveal its Donald Trump

Kinda like Sting taking off his mask to reveal that he is indeed Sting.

Maybe 10 years or so ago my wife and I got in a NYC cab and found a phone that had been left behind. We started looking through it to try to figure out how to contact the person and noticed some famous musicians' names in the contacts (Billy Joel I remember was listed) and started thinking we might have had a really important phone.

I can't remember how we got in touch with her but the woman who owned the phone called us and was so happy that we had found it. She then asked if we were fans of Sting, because she worked for him and he was doing a small, relatively private show on Thursday of that week and did we want to go? We obviously said yes and she thanked us repeatedly again and said she'd email us the passes and more info.

Never heard from her again. So, in conclusion, Sting can go fuck himself. And as I understand it, he should be capable of doing that for a long time.

But really it would have been funnier if it had turned out that she'd been talking about the wrestler

You know, I'm not typically a fan of trash talk and the hype that's a part of the fight game (like, cannot stand the Diaz brothers) but something about Connor McGregor is infectiously entertaining. He's like a wrestling persona, but legit, doesn't seem staged at all. Just a straight up lunatic. Probably on a lot of drugs.

Unless Floyd has really lost a step at this age, this is obviously not a contest, but I'm a little surprised these pressers have actually got me slightly interested in the fight, after the massive disappointment of the Pacquiao one. Maybe just to see if Connor has gotten under Money's skin enough for the latter to go for the KO...

I just want to see Connor land one half-decent shot.
(Followed up by several more)
