Player of the game, no doubt - new Tiger's catcher Pena! Scored the winning run and took a beating at that play at the plate. Pena hung on to the ball but he didn't get up right away. Seems to be alright now.

I was at work, so I missed it. Thank you sir. Why couldn't Verlander been bumped up one day to last night? That would have been a heck of a battle. Not that Scherzer is a slouch.

Indeed, Scherzer had himself a helluva good game as did King Felix.

I loved the section in the stands where Felix's fans were at last night. In the 14th inning, they were still there! You could tell their arms were getting tired by how high they were holding their K signs, but their enthusiasm remained undampened.
