When you can't defend your points earned in previous years because of injury, you're invariably going to drop in the rankings.
He played in 3 GS this year and I don't recall him having any injury issues at those tournaments.

It's harder to defend your points earned in previous years when you can't take a set against Nadal or Federer.

Yeah, well there's a reason why those two are generally regarded as two of the top 3 players in the history of the game and they raise their games even higher at grand slam tournaments. Nobody was beating Roger at Wimbledon this year, he didn't drop a set in the entire tournament.

So it's not injury then, it's the quality of opponent?

Maybe Mercury is in retrograde?

Man, who pissed in your cornflakes this morning? I know, you're upset about the Argos loss to Hamilton last night.
Man, I'd swear some of these Canadian "heroes" around here are your guys' children. Raonic had a bad year and is maybe a contender for "Best of the Rest" on his best, uninjured, stars-are-aligned perfectly day.

All I did was mention that the younger guy with infinite more skill even at his young age has already matched a career-best of Raonic's.

Hey!! He's coming back off foot surgery. He's still a half a step behind normal Karlsson sitting speed.

So I'm hearing that the media presser for this upcoming Davis Cup tie in Edmonton this weekend between Canada and India included a question about McDavid.

:wtf:

Definitely not the same atmosphere in Northlands Coliseum like there is as Thunderbird Arena on the UBC campus.

Shapo levels the Davis Cup tie at 1-1 after day one with a tough five set win. Also, way to not support this event Deadmonton, holy hell, Northlands had all the atmosphere of a crypt.
