I'm done with this team. We're only down 0-1, but I bet we will lose despite the fact that they have the talent to make the playoffs. This is the most talented team we have had since we last made the playoffs, and we're not going to make it this year. Meanwhile, JD has traded our most valuable asset for a fucking nobody. Our best players will be a year older next year, if JD doesn't add starting pitching, I will not attend a game next year out of principle.

I frequently bring clients to Mariners games because it's one of my favorite things to do, but out of principle I won't fucking attend another game if JD doesn't add starting pitching in the offseason. This season is done.

I wish we weren't wasting Nelson's great seasons on this garbage team. If this team was winning, people would love him like they did Buhner.

So Bergman DFA but not Gallardo? I truly believe Jerry needs to go on intervention, he has the shakes if he doesn't hit the wire once a day.

And I love the message M's send when a guy comes up for one game and does his job only to wake up and finding out he was sent back down. I mean our pen has been getting clobbered and Vieira gets them 1-2-3 and is sent down. What message does that end?

Too good, unacceptable
Although im ok with it, id like him to do good in Triple A over an extended period of time before coming as a mainstay in the Majors

AAA is where you go to prepare for the majors so if you have shown you can get MLB hitters out there is no reason to go back down.

Bergman was one of the most solid pitchers Seattle has had this year. He got hit hard in 2 starts, and they were bad not beating around the bush there, but he was solid outside of those. So when the M's are desperate for pitching he is sitting in the minors while guys like Moore and Gallardo continue to suck. Bergman pitched 4 scoreless innings in relief a few days ago I do believe. Can't be having any of that.

On a more positive note, Pagan has been a pleasant surprise this year.

But he succeeded at his first attempt so why send him back for more training? That is the purpose of AAA...training. If he falters or looks overwhelmed, I am 100% with you.

Hard to believe Gallardo is making 11 million this year!

All I want to see in the offseason is a catcher and ALL PITCHING in terms of new additions. I want to see two big name starting pitchers and at least a B level starter to go along with them. Felix needs to be a 4 or 5 moving forward, and I would love to have Miranda be the guy that comes up once Felix or Paxton gets hurt. Stack it up Jerry!

So according to Blowers and Goldy on TV, M's don't believe in competition. According to them, the OF is all young (though Dyson is 33 and a free agent) and so talented that O'Neill had no chance to play for us any time soon. Hard to believe we aren't a perpetual winner with their winning philosophy.

I could live with that. I just assume if you call a guy up you believe he is ready unless it is just for a temp callup while someone is out. Of course we are talking Mariners so all logic goes out the window.

Hey another starter who can't complete 5 innings. I have to give JD credit, it isn't easy finding guys like this but he seems to do it in droves.

Well clearly signing pitchers isn't his "best asset"!

Problem is, I am not sure what is his "best asset". Not hiring a manager or trading prospects that is for sure.
