Lets just say, there seems to be a serious lean in your opinion that the team is probably better off going in a different direction. I do believe you dont have any misgiving or hate towards Cousins. But I doubt Im the only one who see's a pattern of we COULD be better off delving into the draft next year in your opinion.

Again that's you taking something that isn't there from my posts.

We COULD be better off delving back into the draft next year. That's just a fact. Doesn't mean it's what I want us to do.

I think the reason is some poeple on here want Cousins back and will say anything they can to make their point to those who disagree regardless of whether what they're saying is accurate. To be fair I think others (read: dean) are also doing this just while arguing the opposite.

I'm not gonna do that. If you argue for the right thing but with faulty logic I'm gonna point it out.

It is possible we hit on a QB next season. Possible but improbable. That is a FACT. It is a fact, not because we are the Skins. It is a fact because history has proven it.

There is nothing faulty in saying we are highly likely better off with KC than a replacement.

I will say it. You are a tard.

The last time we drafted 2 QBs, our fourth rounder turned into a PBer and you want to let him go. So what is the point in drafting 2 of them?

i think he is so far off . he ignores the facts on things and this sudfeld thing is foolish . you dump a PB qb for a guy who completes 53% of his passes vs CFLers and walmart baggers because of what ? he wants a real contract ?

well , i see no reason why he will go 8-8 every year if the TEAM coach THE TEAM gets stronger on defense
and again you are a fool if you think sudfeld is any thing other then a project at this point

I give Coach credit in one area. He has the stones to admit he would prefer anything over Cousins. Not a very smart stand, but at least he shows conviction.

so please coach since its obvious you know absolutely nothing about our cap situation why i should worry about paying our qb the going rate for the position which will be a bargain in 3 years these figures are from over the cap

Again that's just complete conjecture. To say that definitively is pure bs.

The chiefs with smith have an efficient team that won't win a Super Bowl because their qb holds them back.

You have determined Smith keeps them from being in the Super Bowl but a kid from a spread option with no history of success in the NFL will give them a better chance?

i like kc but not 25 mill a year as long as kirk qb skins will never win more then 10 games because sometimes a qb has to take control and win when otheres on team play like poop

Like he did against TB right?

We will win more than 10 games if the defense is top fifteen.

How do you factor in the game and a half they lost due to a missed winning kick and a defense that could not stop the opposing offense with 1:05 to go after he led the team to what should have been a game winning 4th quarter drive?

Hear a Detroit fan on the radio a night or two ago talking about Stafford and how much he loves him but not sure if he loves him $25 million plus. He asked the ex-GM how you go about getting a home team discount to which the GM replied no agent ever said "we are going to give you a home team discount" and "I never asked for a home team discount in the over 300 contracts I wrote."

Who are you going to get for $17 million, Mike Glennon? What don't you folks understand, the price to play in Today's NFL is $25 million for a pretty good QB. :trash::trash::trash::trash:

Didn't say better chance. But I'll take the guy with up upside over the guy I know isn't getting it done.

I am not going to tell you Smith is a great QB but he is an NFL QB. At this time Mahomes wants to be at least that good. Like I said he is the right coach to help him, history of his school, conference and type of offense are against him. Hope it works for the kid. Not going to $100 on it though.

Again not saying I'm betting on it either. Mahomes is a risky prospect. But smith just isn't anything to me. He's not winning you a SB. Best to move on as soon as you can.

We have had this conversation before.

The problem with the move on as soon as you can is the risk of getting into the Browns/Redskins realm of always looking for the elite QB at the risk of the rest of the roster. How many good to great players has each team passed on because every couple of years they are drafting a QB. Even take out the lets trade up and really secure the elite QB move....

Look back at both teams draft history. Look at who they took at QB and when... then look at the D-lineman, O-lineman and Pass rush guys they passed on because they didnt even have a competent QB. I agree Smith, Cousins and dalton will likely never be Rogers. But I wouldnt get rid of them simply to go back into the hunt for Moby Dick.

Doesn't make sense until you know you have his equal or a better QB. If and when that happens then I agree that is the move to make. Seeing as Mahomes has a cap friendly number or at least the next 4 years they do not need to move out of the Smith business even if Mahomes replaces him as the starter.
