I'm a fan favourite for the Leafs (I have to admit I did like them when Lanny played for Toronto).

Funny you mention Lanny. On the broadcast last night, they showed the 4 former Leafs who scored the most points AFTER leaving Toronto. Lanny was #4. Gave me a chance to tell her about Lanny and how we never turned on him after Ballard destroyed the team. I loved to see him win that Cup in Calgary.

I told her the other 3 never really played much in TOR, so no biggie (Kehoe, Damphousse, and, oh yeah Steen)

Kid Rock is playing the NHL All-Star Game. Geeesh.

Was Nickelback not available?

"...More generally, Kid Rock regularly uses the Confederate battle flag on stage and in his iconography, and has sold t-shirts where red states are marked as “America” and blue states as “Dumbfuckistan”. More than once he’s gone with “fuck Colin Kaepernick” as a crowd-pleasing line at a concert."

Cool.

"In fact, the strongest offer anyone has mentioned is sending the Sabres one of Ray Emery's neckties."

Scott Wheeler of the Athletic wrote an article ranking the prospect pools of each of the Canadian teams - Canucks are ranked #1 followed by the Flames and Leafs.

Other items of note: He ranks Adam Fox as the top Flames prospect and also ranks Valimaki ahead of Juolevi.
