i equated to the atom kid because hes the best player on the ice ... and even when he loses the puck (which is what both cases looked like to me ... hes still able to get it back with ease because of how well he skates

Just a refresher, Buffalo gave up two roster players, a good prospect, a bad prospect and a first rounder for Kane when he had three years left on his contract. Now that he's expiring (oh, and fighting with teammates again) Buffalo thinks he's worth all that minus Brendan Lemieux?

Either Dreger's being Dreger or the Sabres are totally fucked lol.

Not that he particularly adds much to the equation, but they did get Bogosian back as part of that deal and also a shitty prospect.

That's not to say that hoping for a first, prospect, and a roster player isn't high unless they've got plans to eat some salary or take on a bad contract as part of the deal.
