I'll take a rematch of the 2004 SCF series with a different outcome this time.

Once again punctuation is important with titles.

    Montreal couldn't resist a re-Hab project.

Man if Niemi wasn't on that juggernaut Hawks team he'd have been out of the league years ago.

He posted .920 and .924 sv%'s as a regular starter in SJ, and his lowest sv% while he was there was .913. Also got a Vezina nom in the lockout year. They just cut and ran at the right time.

I don't think he was ever a star, sure-shit #1 starter in this league but he was certainly deserving of the time he was afforded in it until he got to Dallas.

Niemi's a good goalie but his best days are behind him. Montreal picking him up makes me wonder if Price's injury is more serious than thought.

I'd rather have Curtis Sanford or Erik Ersberg than Anti Niemi at this point.

His career astounds me. Gotta give the guy credit for still toughing it out on the bus in the A at 36.

Alexander Wennberg is out for the Blue Jackets with a "Full Body" injury.

Can't say I've ever heard that one.

It's pretty decent. I liked that Marek had a decent amount of involvement. If you're balls deep in the sport, nothing will really "shock" you. They do well to break it into "segments". Dave Semenko is also pretty prominently featured, with his passing it's got a weird eery kinda vibe.

Beats the hell out of Goon 2 in the "recent hockey movie" genre.

At this point I'd rather see what Charlie Lindgren can do, that's the only thing that bothers me about the Nieme pickup.

Hey, we got a young goalie playing well, let's pick up someone who looks done!

Going for ex-Sharks goalies they should go for Jarmo Myllys.

Hey anytime I could reference Jarmo Myllys it is a good thing! :suds:
