Our shit useless ass left tackle went down and required a time out.

leading to two straight 100 yard rushers against us in back to back weeks... The only guys' carrying their weight on defense imo, is Thomas, Wagner and our rookie, Griffin...

Have you ever played football in 110 degree weather ? Are you implying that doesn't have an affect ? Think about being a 330 pound D lineman running around with a uni and helmet on in that kinda heat... Football is not meant to be played in heat, any other weather besides flooding is fine, but heat is a KILLER in football... I will use that as an excuse, hell yeah I will ... I remember a game vs the Chargers years back where I also said the same thing... Football should never be played with intense heat, these outdoor stadiums where it get's that hot out should have closures and climate control, similar to what AZ has done...
