I noticed we still have one spot open for 2011 and 2 for 2012. What do you guys think of playing Oklahoma like we used to? Im not sure they would do it but it would be nice to see the rivalry back.

I love the idea but we need to find a huge cupcake for that game next year, our schedule is already hard enough.

I would love to see it but it won't happen. My guess is there would be too much bullshit from the Big 12. Plus I don't think NU would do it either.

I would love to see Frank back in Lincoln, but I think he may have objections about that deal.

I am pretty sure the Big 12 banned us from playing Big 12 teams beacuse we left the conference...someone correct me if I am wrong but I remember them threatining that while we were on the fence about leaving

i didnt see that any where but you might be right. I could see the big texas doing that to Nebraska and colorado. I do believe Colorado only left because they thought everyone was going to wonder if they regret there decision.

There was a article a few weeks ago in the KC Star that a spokeman for OU said they would not play Nebraska in a non con game. He said their conf schedule is strong enough that they dont see the advantage of playing Nebraska in a non con game. Too much to risk.

LOL there conf schedule is strong? LOL who are they going to play besides Texas LOL good luck making the national championship soon enough recruits will see that the big Texas 10 is WEAK.

I saw that article also but I don't think thats true. The Big 12 is becoming a weaker conference in my opinion.

I would like to see us try for a CU game before OU anyway.

If we added Oklahoma to our schedule next year we would have the hardest schedule in the history of college football........but honestly I would like to play them more often because their fans are getting mouthier.

It's not about playing a team I respect, it's about playing them and beating them....that's why I want to play them

Umm ok whats so hard about our schedule next year. We got wisconsin at home I dont even see them being that good next year. We got Iowa at home they should have a drop off year to. Michigan could be an ok test becuase its AT michigan but again there just to far down to make a HUGE leap in a matter of 2 years. The only tough games we got are Penn state possibly and definitely Ohio state Twice (regular season and championship game ) not saying its easy like this year just dont see y adding Oklahoma would make it the hardest schedule ever?

Using this years coaches poll we would playing 4 top 15 teams next year.......
Adding Oklahoma would make it 5.........


I don't agree that it will be the hardest ever, but say Iowa and wisconsin improve instead of getting worse(that is a possibility ya know) we could be playing 4 top TEN teams next year, or 5 with oklahoma......

Iowa basically played the same schedule last year.
Outside of playing themselves.
