I know I have absolutely no chance of getting him but I have lost 4 straight and he is in 2nd to last place in his division so possibly I might be able to get him (again.... I am sure this is a pipe dream)

SO

I trade:

Cordarrelle Patterson
Eddie Royal
Louis Murphy

For:

Julius Thomas

He has Antonio Gates as his TE and Thomas as his FLEX...

*AGAIN - I know there is NO WAY he will give him up but what would you guys give me percentage wise, grade wise (what ever) in getting Thomas?

Negative percent. Two waiver adds and a 4th/5th round bust?

haha, figured. Should I throw in Calvin?

No.

You should take away the crap and offer Calvin straight up if you want to get Thomas.

Adding players like Royal and Murphy actually make the trade package less appealing because it means that he may have to drop somebody who he values higher.

If you want value you have to give value.

Yeah I was initially thinking this very same thing but I am desperate right now. So I might just do Calvin straight up for Thomas... Even then it's a crap offer imo (considering the health of Johnson right now)

I don't think that is a bad offer, because Calvin is more valuable when healthy. He might not do it, but it is a solid offer. If I had a good 2nd TE I would absolutely consider moving Thomas for Calvin right now.

You'd have a better shot at getting Gates for that offer.. at least it's possible he wouldn't laugh at it. . Possible, not probable

This is the kind of deal that Putz in my league has offered me for Lynch or Luck.

should i offer Dez for Calvin?

I would not make an offer like that, because Dez is not far behind when Calvin is healthy.

As good as Thomas is, he is a TE on an unsustainable TD pace. His value could not be higher. Tough time to trade for him, Great time to deal him away.

OUCH! even more pain thrown at me (in one of my Yahoo Leagues)

my team has underachieved in points (versus projected) 4 times this season
I have the longest losing streak in the league (3)
i got 19.52 points from my WRS which is the lowest combined scoring output for the WR position for ANY team this week.
I would have been defeated by 7 (of the 12) teams this week

should i offer Dez for Calvin?

No.

Dez will only see more targets as games go by. Murray cannot sustain his production for much longer and will most likely miss time.

Id like to think Calvin will return to form after the bye week(two weeks away.). But his ankle injury could linger all season.
