How about a 3rd and Chaz Green?

They may shoot JJ if he offered that.

Who else does Seattle have that can play F/S? I am not familiar with their roster at all. At this point if they give him up they are going to need a replacement, even for just this year. Maybe we can give up a couple players and a 3rd?

Fellas, I just figured it out! Dallas could trade a 4th and Jeff Heath! You guys know "the spectacular play maker" ,Jeff Heath.

LCollins might get it done, but not for me. Keep the great OL intact. How about David Irving straight up...

ET has told Seattle either sign me to an extension before TC or trade me

Good news. I would have cut him long ago to set an example, but now that we hung on to him this whole time, let's see what he has to offer. I'm kind of excited to see if he still has that burst to get around the end. In theory he should be a fantastic RDE to rotate in on the nickel and a nice compliment to Crawford who should be much better on early downs. The DL is going to be pretty deep once Irving and Collins are ready. If everyone is healthy it is going to be very tough to decide who to cut there. At least we get an extra 4 weeks to decide while Irving is out. I hope one of these true 1 techs like Price, Ash, etc works out and makes the team also.

If he lights it up next season, he better give Dallas a huge home team discount going into 2020.
I think because of him missing so much time he is under our control for longer than that and then we can tender him too for a year.

They way Jerry has bent over backwards for him for the last three years... damn straight!

The Cowboys took a big risk on Gregory because of the off the field stuff, JSmith because of the injury, and were able to sign LCollins as a FA. All of those guys would have been long long long gone by the time they picked in the 1st round let alone the 2nd or later otherwise. It was a huge gamble, but it might pay off in a huge way this year. Gregory could be a heck of a pass rusher, Collins could push for the Pro Bowl, and I really think Smith could be back to where he was in college, which was a young Junior Seau

Yes I could pay off big time, except for Collins. He is a stiff IMO

Interesting. Of the 3, I would guess Collins is the most likely to be a very good player.

Gregory may be the best pass rusher on the roster at least potentially. Gregory wI'll be a factor and I look forward to see him opposite DLaw. The dline is going to sack qbs. I predict Tapper will get cut

I do not get the ever enduring hype about L.Collins. He is a good enough, average IMO, RT or LG. He has not been a standout at either position at this point in his NFL career, yet still people/writers like to talk about this guy like he is some great player. I don't see it. Certainly still room for him to grow, of course, but beyond a few highlight real blocks what has this guy done especially well?

Ever enduring hype? Where do you see that? I see a guy who is already pretty good, who played his rookie year then 3 games in year 2 at LG before missing the rest of the year due to injury. Then he switched positions for year 3 and was injured enough to never practice in full for most of the year yet was still OK. So yeah, if it is between him, Smith and Gregory, I've seen a lot more so far out of Collins to think he has a better chance to be a top player than the other two and I'm happy to have him as a starting OL myself.
