Was unsure if he was fucking around, but my friend said it sounds like the M's land Jay Bruce.

Not sure if I believe him though.

$10m for Dee Gordon
$10m or so for Bruce
$7m on Nicasio
$27m total.

I'd take Darvish for that much over those 3.

This is such a weird off season. A lot of what Dipoto is doing is simply not computing in my brain, maybe I'm just getting dumber. Everything might be clearer once all the dust settles but right now it just looks like a complete mess with no direction. Dip may have really effed this org going balls deep for Ohtani.

See to me you would think he would try and win now but the moves are not winners. If he signed Darvish and another stud SP, I would be in full agreement. I am not really sure what he is trying to do. He hasn't made a single move to shrink that 23 game lead Astros have on us and they aren't dumping players. It is just a headscratcher.

I don't hate the Indians, but just can't find myself rooting for them either. I need to find a winner and why not join the biggest bandwagon in the history of sports?

The Mariners are the girlfriend who keeps cheating on you and we just keep coming back.

More like you married a chick at her peak, but she was ugly in grade school, she cheats on you all the time but reminds you if you leave her she gets to take half your stuff, doesn't put out, gets fatter and fatter while all of her friends keep getting plastic surgery (some good outcomes, some bad) to please their husbands and improve their marriage.

Yea, very unpopular opinion of mine but I never really liked him when he was a player, so watching him implode as an owner is fun.

Would have been nice to get him without Walker but not sure that was ever possible. I actually really like Haniger so hopefully not swapping Ozuna for Walker will turn out ok

I would agree in that he failed in not making that deal happen, but I can’t say he failed when considering what Walker was eventually able to net us. It was gonna cost us Walker and others just to land Ozuna. Sometimes the best deal is the one you didn’t make, and the one he did with AZ was probably better than the one that didn’t happen for Ozuna. Only time will tell.
