Official Maikel Fraudco Thread

This is a thread where we post all the fraudulence/failures of one Maikel Antonio Franco. Everyone is jumping on the Fraudco train. Hell, even Fangraphs wrote this about him:

"Franco possesses a combination of contact ability, game power, and defensive skill shared by the game's elite young players... everything else should be average or better. Breakout candidate."

I, for one, would like to be the first to proclaim Maikel as a bust. I will chronicle his short-comings throughout the season in this thread. To start off, I'll post some facts about last season:

-He was 21/24 among 3B in WAR with a 1.4 clip
-He was 22/24 in wRC+, the single most important hitting statistic we have
-He had a .306 OBP
-He had a -0.8 WAA
He was 12/18 among 3B in Fangraphs Def

As a side note, I never realized how weird Robert Downey Jr.'s facial hair is in that picture. It looks like he was going for the Stringer Bell, but accidentally shaved where his mustache should meet his beard

Be more patient. Shorten up on the swing with two strikes. Meet the ball and stop trying to pull everything ETC.

I'm buying into it. If he can't work it out the Phils really are dead. He'll hit 35 this year and walk a hell of a lot more. Some fans are fretting over nothing, as if they believe he's the new Dom. I guess I'm confident Stairs can straighten Franco out.
