the rumor in Cleveland is that they will offer Love, who is basically expiring, for the #4 pick and Parsons.

Cavs then have 4 and 8 to offer for Kawhi.

or if LeBron leaves they take say- Jackson and Trae Young and are primed for a rebuild.

Gilbert would eat Parsons deal in a second.

I dont think the Griz could do better. Love would be a great compliment to Gasol and Conley.

Love for Parsons and #4.

That would be a really good trade for Cleveland if LeBron leaves.

Too bad the draft is first. Not because Cleveland couldn't make that trade later, but it does complicate things. It is a lot easier to trade a draft pick than the player once a name has been attached.

I do it either way.

You either get kawhi or an elite start to a rebuild

No.

4 + 8 + a bad contract is not that great a package for Kawhi unless they are also throwing in multiple future firsts.

The #4 pick is more valuable then Love- and its just money for Gilbert.

trading the #4 pick and #8 pick is more valuable then Love and the #8 pick.

That would be a great deal for the Cavs if Bron scoots.

But, the Griz are trying to Danny Ainge fools.

They wanted Harris #12 and 13 for Parsons #4 from the Clippers.

Or

Harrison Barnes and #5 for Parsons and #4 from the Mavs.

They are on fucking crack.

:doobs:

You are dreaming, my friend.

Maybe the price comes down later.

But, they are trying to FLEECE teams.

its a while out.

Their demands will come down as the draft gets closer if htey are actually serious about moving Parsons.

There are a ton of suitors though- it could be anyone---- Cleveland, Chicago, Boston, LAC, DAllas, etc.

I agree with that.

But, taking back Parsons substantially waters down the Cavs side of that deal. And they would not be able to get Kawhi without also including a George Hill type, who SA won't want.

Russ is basically expiring after this year.

And if you're dealing Kawhi you're not expecting to be a title contender anyway.

Gasol's deal is also partially guaranteed for the 2019/2020 season as well.

They could have max money next summer plus 2 elite prospects.

I just dont want the Cavs to draft Wendell Carter Jr.

Id be fine with Miles Bridges even as a fall back.

Obviously if someone like Bamba slipped - GREAT.

I really have no clue what is going to happen over the next few days.

If the Cavs had to trade 8 to move up to 4- and take back Parsons- that MIGHT be something id consider since their 2 year outlook for the cap is what it is anyway- but that might be way to expensive- id imagine theyd want something else back.

Id love if they could get up to 4 and get Jackson though. That would be really cool--- or shit- even MAYBE possibly Doncic if he falls.

I suggested this exact trade a while ago. Hire me as a GM, asap.
