I don't know if we have enough "draft" picks to handle the more important holes on the team.

I agree, but there's 4-5 really good ones, and we could grab one in the middle rounds that can also add WR or DB depth.

I agree though, that it's far from our biggest problems.

Yeah, definitely the first, "What the hell was that?" signing this off-season IMO...

How is that a "what the hell?" signing?

He's getting the league minimum and isn't even guaranteed a roster spot past camp.

Not to mention, he's undoubtedly a poor starter, but has proven to be a competent backup.

It's Mark Sanchez. I think I'd rather have Tebow. :suds: :D

I suppose, the more the merrier.

I think the organization likes Shaw, and wants him to win the backup job. Sanchez is a veteran they're bringing into to push him, and take the job incase he gets hurt again. That injury was pretty bad last pre-season.

there was not alot of talent out there and years of not trying to draft your own guy has caught up with this team. I would just prefer to hear that we have three quarterbacks competing for the job. So far the problem I see is already naming Glennon the man.

That being said, if they draft a QB and he shows enough during mini camp, they might release sanchez immediately. They miss on the QB, its a good plan to have Dirty there in case Shaws leg is not 100%.

Yeah, I definitely do not think Sanchez is a lock for a roster spot. Not in the least.

I think we could still take a QB on the second day as well. Kaaya could be a guy we look at on day 2, IMO.
