I just got an offer for my #1 overall pick.

Mark Ingram
Brandin Cooks
Zach Ertz

for #1
and a WR of my choice

If he is serious I likely swap our cooks and try for Cooper and increase my WR offer

is that as easy of a decision as I think?

Standard scoring. Start 2 RB, 2 WR and 2 Flex. I also have #7 in this year's draft as well as #11, #18 and #21

Assuming you would go for either Fournette or Cook with that pick? Is your team RB needy, or would he be a luxury?

All things being equal..Ingram, Cooper and Ertz wouldn't be enough to pry the#1 pick from me, let alone a WR throw in on my side.

However, if your RB situation is solid and your already sitting on a couple younger, stud RB's already, and this deal fills MULTIPLE holes for you, its not a bad deal to take. But I sure would be pushing hard, you've got the leverage here, use it

My RB situation is dicey depending on FA.

Lacy
Anderson
Perkins
Gillislee
Smallwood
Jennings
Michael
Marshall

My thinking was it gives me a slam dunk RB at least for this year but I obviously run the risk of missing out on a stud. Right now Fournette is the pick but where they go will have a huge impact. I am hoping to nab maybe a Mixon or Kamara at #7

Definitely take that (although if you can get Cooper instead do it)

Cooks is worth about the 1.01 anyways. Then you're getting 2 solid win now pieces on top of that.

Unless it's non ppr. Then it gets closer. But still probably enough to do it.

Either way, I would wait until after the NFL draft... that first overall pick only gains value...

Nah. Don't think it's a major help for this year, and is probably very lopsided in a few years.

Truly amazes me how far apart we are just in WR value as a whole, let alone that of Cooks. I wouldn't deal 1.01 or 1.02 this year for OBJ straight up, might not give 2.01 for Cooks...in NE with a QB who just doesn't throw deep all that well any longer? I'd really pass altogether on Cooks

Cooks doesn't really interest me. I actually moved him late last season for this guys 1st and 2nd plus Corey Coleman.

Have you served your jail time for that one? Grand theft larceny
I threw in Hightower too because he has/had Ingram.

I happily took my haul en route to the worst record and sadly unless I get lucky with some of the FA signings.draft picks.

If you saw what was traded for the 1st pick in our league you'd laugh at that offer. ..... Ingram gives you no upside, Cooks becomes another of Brady's multitude of weapons, Ertz is certainly promising but there are a number of rookies with upside this year. I'd hold on to it for now - you may find someone willing to break the bank following the NFL draft. If not, you have enough high level picks to put a nice roster together. ....

I wouldn't give OBJr up for the 1-1. Not even close.

Holy shit lol. We are damn far apart. I wouldnt give up OBJ for 1.01 AND 1.02 together. I also wouldnt give up OBJ for Zeke, DJ, Bell, or any other player you wanna name lol.

Im not a huge Cooks fan and in non ppr Im taking the 1.01 over him straight up but 2.01 is crazy to me.

The fun part about it is gonna be watching the different ways we build our teams in D2 and how it ends up working out. Through 1 year we both had competitive teams that ended up falling short. Should be interesting though.

Milk has a good point. No need to deal the pick now unless you get blown away. It should only gain value.

Yep, holy shit..lol..I wouldn't give up any of those RB's you listed for 1.01 and .02 together either, well, maybe this year I would, lol

I mean, we're damned near exact oposites on this whole more valuable, RB's or WR's thing.

Not really that you guys are far apart. Just shows the huge difference in value between an owner who is used to and comfortable playing standard vs one that is used to and comfortable playing ppr.

If you feel Ingram is a slam dunk ( I don't) might be worth it. I won't do it myself, rather wait and find another deal I like better, or just pick Fournette. I owned Ingram last year and that was really frustrating. Cook in NE doesn't sound enticing.

Naw we're worlds apart, plenty of ppr leagues and I'd still take ten RB's in those leagues before any wr not named Antonio. Ppr or not, the value of wr's runs too deep, imho, to justify spending hi picks or trading the farm for a dime a dozen WR
