Nobody outside the miltary needs to have a gun such as an AK-47, AR-15, uzi’s or any type machine gun. They’re made for killing in high volume. It’s all they’re good for. Theres really no answer for controlling guns in the country.. and really world. The damage is already out there and money talks louder than innocent lives. People will sell these type guns to anyone on the open market. if you feel the need for protection than go buy a reasonable gun after you've qualified for a license which I have and is really a joke.. 3 hour class of talking bout guns, a quick background check now im qualified to go buy anything. We need better laws on obtaining firearms but I doubt it stops any shootings.

HIs properties made $3.2M off of the midterms. So there is that. There is also the fact that he tanked a 10 year project to move the FBI Head Quarters. And reports are that he was bidding on the property site before he got elected. The scandal is, he tanked the project because the site would compete with his Trump Hotel DC.

If he isnt busted on the tax stuff or emoluments clause violations.. IM betting he will make a pretty penny when ever he is out of office, as I suspect most official RNC functions will be held at Trump brand properties for the 2020 run.

Why would you tried on my second amendment rights?

Why should the ATF be allowed to enter my house without cause? Why should I have to pay for the second amendment but a,poll tax is bad?

Why? What makes an AK or AR different than a Remington?

You aren’t allowed to own any gun simply by having a class Andy a background check. You cannot own a fully automatic gun.

I dont know all the laws or all the different types of guns but it just seems that guns that have rapid fire power shouldnt be a product to own for the general public. I stand by that these types of guns are for high volume killing that shouldnt exist outside the military. Having said that I also believe that any laws passed or bans of any type guns wont stop the mass shootings. Guns will always be obtainable, and if these lunatics cant get their hands on an rapid fire assault rifle they will kill with a handgun.

There are a few types of guns.

The first is fully automatic. They are legal only if you have an ATF stamp. That stamp allows the ATF to come not your home or place of business any time they want, without warning, and check you out. The military doesn’t typically use fully automatic weapons because they are harder to control. They can be outfitted to shoot three round bursts though. A fully automatic gun fires rounds as long as the trigger is pulled.

A semi-automatic fires one round each time the trigger is pulled, regardless of handgun or rifle. This is the same fire rate as a revolver. An AR is typically a semi-automatic weapon. It isn’t a rapid fire gun. An AK is typically a semi-automatic weapon. It isn’t a rapid fire gun.

The only rapid fire gun I remember used in a mass shooting is Paddock in Vegas. It wasn’t the gun that was rapid fire. It was the bump stock that modified it. It simply allowed him to pull the trigger faster because it uses momentum to increase the fire rate.

AR does not stand for assault rifle either.

I have supported the smaller magazine idea for some time but it will have to be a federal decision. I think it is MD that has a limited magazine law but you can go to VA and buy larger magazines, as well as other places. I am also in favor of outlawing bump stocks. They would have to change the magazines on a lot of pistols also since they hold more than 5 bullets. My .45 holds more. There just isn't a need for 20 round magazines.

I own a Ruger .45 and an 1897 Model Winchester 12 gauge. Both are used for recreation but both are loaded all the time. If you come in my house without being welcomed there is a very good chance you are not walking out.

most of my weapons are historical in nature . . i do have a good sized collection and i have semi automatics i go shooting with , i dont hunt . i have a mosen sniper rifle , 2 ak 47, ak 74 ar -15 45 38 (1890 model possibly owned by wyatt earp ) 1927 ,22 rifle 1910 model 45 22 cal revolver , and upwards of 15000 rounds of ammo that shoot these and other various weapns . but also understand i have about 100 different types of guns from shot gun to 9 mil to various rifles of different calibers

i think we have enough laws , what we do need is better execution by the FBI , and some emphasis on the mentally ill and being able to get guns

now shark and others want me to accept that every day an illegal alien commits a violent crime against and american citizen ( r*pe murder armed robbery , burglary assault) and "soft" crimes like ID theft as the cost of ding business

yet they dont apply the same standard to the 2nd amendment . they feel i shouldnt have an semi automatic weapon because a "few " criminals and wackos commit crimes with them and wont accept that as the cost of doing business

tell the rancher out in texas or arizona , or new mexico who has to confront , drug dealers and coyotes to defend HIS land when law enforcement is often 40 to 60 minutes away in understaffed towns . taking away a semi for defense makes the criminal in possession of more fire power leaving these people at the mercy of the assailants

to tell me what i need or dont need in defense of MY HOME is not for shark or the federal govt to say . a ban on automatics is fair and its already law

the path to one world socialism begins with taking over the education of our people , making them dependent on govt , dividing people by identity politics , disarming them and removing borders

That sir is not a preparation to defend your home. It is a preparation to use force to impose your will in the event society starts heading in a direction that you are not comfortable with.

uh i dont believe so , most are just historical in nature that can fire . 1000 rounds last me about 90 days of regular shooting at ranges . if you buy bulk its cheaper

but at this point and in the foreseeable i dont expect i would ever need to use ANY of my rounds for self defense , by the summer of next year i will be down to a few hundred

and again who are you to tell me i cant have 1500 rounds ? oh shit now i see i wrote 15000 rounds sorry its 1500 . my bad

By your logic because a small percentage of immigrants commit crimes, we need to enact stricter controls and severely limit the number of certain types of immigrants to the country... both legal and illegal.

Im just applying that same logic to guns. We need to severely limit the number and types of guns available to the public for the greater safety of all of us.

I would be fine with FULLY funding the wall in exchange for requiring ALL high capacity weapons to have to be registered and ammo sales also tracked and registered.

Really agree with the better and more thorough checks on those that are mentally ill. I also understand it is a fine line. Sadly a lot of the mass shootings have been done by someone who's elevator doesn't go to the top and they had chances to prevent the episodes from happening but never did.

I think we as gun owners need to be responsible too. I know guys and women like dad that collect guns or have several guns for hunting. They should be in a gun safe. I think about the guy near here who went to his HS and shot and killed his girlfriend because she had broken up with him. Dad was the gun owner, why did that kid have access to that gun.

I just have to make sure I don't piss off any GFs I have over so they don't fill me full of 00 buckshot.
