The first that comes to my mind is the tribute to Buck Owens.

Dwight Yoakam- He was Buck's protege, so so surprise there
Brad Paisley- A talentless hack that somehow finds his way into every tribute and induction ceremony, so again no surprise
Chris Hillman- The Byrds always had strong Country ties, so no surprise

But then:

Billy Gibbons- Both from Texas originally, but I don't exactly think of Buck Owens when I hear ZZ Top
Travis Barker- Blink 182's drummer, go figure

They did several songs together, and I enjoyed them, underrated cuts for both artists, but Waylon Jennings and Neil Young just always seemed like such an odd combo.

And then you have Shooter Jennings, Jamey Johnson and Marilyn Manson's bandmate, Twiggy Ramirez getting together to do a chilling version of a song written by a former governor of Louisiana.

Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg's friendship is proof that weed can bring us all together.
