We lost to them after going for 2 all those times and we still almost won the game at their place. Worst Duck team in a decade + should have won that game.

They are fearing this trip to Autzen.

Yeah we almost lost to McNeese state in 2014 in non-con so pretty darn similar... Still went out and won 9 games.

Ameer Abdullah put his superman cape on and put the team on his back to save an all time embarrassing loss. Probably worse than Michigan vs App. State:


Those early season games against clearly inferior teams can get really wonky. 9 times out of ten we beat the living shit out of McNeese State, but they had their one day just like Oregon did.

Don't count on a close game again. We're going to fucking destroy you.

I remember us being in the fourth row at the 45 behind the McNeese bench and screaming "JV SQUAD!!" (I know, classiest fans in the country) at them when they kept staring up at us like they would go up in the stands and fight us when they got up on us in the 4th quarter.

I had a front row seat for the Abdullah run.

They stopped looking back up at us after that.

I went up to the field and clapped for and high fived their QB and several other players after the game on their way into the locker room telling them good game, and we went to the visitors section and shook hands with the McNeese St. fans. They were real cool.

Oregon was really no different in terms of ability that year.
