Braves leap frog us with a win tonight. Having flashbacks from 20 years ago.

*Good News.

Mets' deGrom cleared for next start after MRI

Caveat = *at least for now.
(We mets fans know all too well how these things have tended to not go our way over the years recently)

Nonetheless...Let's hope for the best. We have to. We're almost obligated.

Nah...they're playing good ball right now is all..and the mets simply aren't...but they'll come back down to earth soon.
It's a long season. I'm actually still more worried about the Nats who haven't really hit their stride yet...and the Phils who are dangerously unpredictable, than I am about Atlanta.

We still got a long way to go before anything is settled in the NL east.
Today is only game 29 of 162.
Let's see how things have shaken out by Memorial day & July 4th...and even by then there will still be a long way to go.

Well that was brutal. No hit through 6, team looked lost today.

That team wide jet lag just doesn't want to go away...it's been nearly a week now since leaving San Diego. They looked really good on Sunday but have disappeared and fallen off badly for the last 3 games. Can they bounce back this weekend??

Braves vs. Mets - Game Recap - May 3, 2018 - ESPN

When I saw Vargas come out for the start, it brought back bad memories of when he was in Seattle.

Harvey.....
