The reason the Warriors lost was because of terrible defense. There's no excuse for you to score 116 points and not win the game. You can question the offense all you want. You can say some critical moments affected us. All the Warriors had to do was just defend a little bit and they win this game easy.

Yep. For some reason they just didn't defend. But it's just one game. Baseball again: sometimes your ace pitcher goes out there and gives up 6 runs. The next day you win 2-0. It's a long season.

Point totals are mostly irrelevant.

Something more revealing is FG% A = Dubs let them shoot 54% from the field. and 50% from 3pt land.

We made Nate , Lawson, and Foye look like Allstars.

Also, when was the last time, the Dubs had less turnovers than their OPP, 12 vs 16?

Our (Steph's) shot selection was horrible, and we just loss to a "hotter team".

The point total was to show that there wasn't anything wrong with the Warriors offense. It's not trivial in the fact that they were able to produce on one end of the court. It's the other end that held the deficiencies.

As you stated the Nuggets shot 54% from the field and 50% from 3. That's just flat out terrible.

Lawson and Robinson hit some tough shots but for the most part Foye and Chandler got many uncontested perimeter shots. Some of their makes were due to the Nuggets being "hot" but many more of them were just lazily defended.

Jackson holds a bit of the blame here too. The Nuggets small lineup was dominating our small lineup. I don't think it's a coincidence that the Nuggets went on a big run late in the game when Bogut sat.

The Warriors struggle against good outside shooting teams. For some reason they cannot defend a team of their own likeness. The Rockets are a terrible matchup for us. Same with Portland and last night the Nuggets. This is something they'll have to address at some point.
