Did not watch but for the record, I've been catching some very large fish on micro baits the past few years.

On ebay I found these micro minnows that are no more than one inch long. I run a #10 mustad light wire nymph hook down 3/4 of the way. Attach a very small BB sinker 12 inches up and use nothing heavier that 4lb test. On the retrieve raise and lower the bait so it flutters and flashes and even the big boys can't resist.

....yes, you will also catch a lot of panfish if they're in the area but where you can target a good fish, they can really work.
