Badgers have been doing the neutral sites since they started playing Bama and LSU every year starting 4 years ago. I assume it brings more $$ and excitement which means it will be nationally televised.

Notre Dame still has the name but are a shell of their former selves. Hopefully, they can turn it around within 4 years so this will be a top ten matchup. I was hoping for this matchup for 20+ years and now I'm not as excited.

Notre Dame should just join the BIG already.

Like the Bama fan replied earlier...they get the same money. They don't have a big payday one
year and the next year have to fly around the country for 1 or 1.5 mil.

PLUS...it's the first game of the season. You got 9 months to get ready for it. Whisky was hurting
itself by not playing at least 1 tough OOC game. Now they open the season in a game that will\
draw millions of eyes for an intersectional match-up. AND Whisky schedules appropriately.

The 2nd game of the year can be handled w/o much emotion. W. Ill in '14, Miami,O in '15,
Akron last year and FAU this season.

As others have said this will be a good series but why not do a home and home?

When Was Whisky hurt itself by not playing at least 1 tough OOC game? They've played LSU, Bama, then LSU the last 3 seasons with the first game of the year. This year and next season were supposed to be vs the Huskies in the first game as well but some BIG scheduling BS stopped those games unfortunately.

You mean each team receives the same amount of money no matter what venue they utilize? I believe NBC will be broadcasting these games so it would only be appropriate for the teams to receive equal portions of revenue based on the ratings. That's how I see it anyways.

During the last 10 years of the BCS era, Wisconsin only had scheduled a total of 7 games vs BCS
schools during that time frame.

Well now it's irrelevant in who you play since the Huskies proved you can play Rutgers as your OOC big game and have a weak or down conference, lose one game and still make the playoffs. If anything it's smarter to not play difficult teams OOC now.

I believe NBC will be broadcasting the 2020 game(Lambeau Field) and ESPN/ABC will be broadcasting the 2021 game(Soldier Field)

HUH????

2016: Nevada, Army and Navy 9 P5 Teams
2015: UMASS, Navy and Temple: 9 P5 teams
2014: Rice, and Navy: 10 P5 teams
2013: Temple, Air Force, Navy and BYU: 8 Power 5 teams

All the other Power 5 schools are in a Power 5 League, meaning their
8 or 9 conf games are against Power 5 schools.

Year in and year out ND plays one of the toughest schedule. Navy is good now, not the Navy we knew in the 80 and 90's.

Good for them, follow the Huskies and play a cake walk schedule and back into the playoffs.

BOOM
Wisconsin went all pussy like and backed out of that series which left Washington scrambling for an opponent RE Rutgers.

I know you don't believe that since you read the article that stated it was canceled due to big ten scheduling conflictions. Also, Rutgers was scheduled in 2016 and the Badgers games were scheduled in 17 and 18. You have nobody to blame but your own schedulers for 2016. If anything Badgers believed they upgraded with Notre Dame over the Huskies since the Huskies were dog shit at the time of the scheduling. lol

And I think the crowd possibly favors Wisconsin in Soldier Field. So both neutral sites could be pro-Wisconsin atmospheres.

Should be home and home.

I like it ... cept for the neutral site boochit.

Why?
I don't have a dog in this race but I like it. Is it because they want neutral sites that are still the heart of their fanbase? I liked last year's Wisc-LSU game
