Saw the flight had an issue in Atlanta and the boys got in really late to Iowa City, hoping no jet lag will affect the game tomorrow night, I have to feel Iowa wins this one, the Nova game should give them some fire.

I see it is on ESPN2 at 8:15

my package is big enough to get all the channels...oh you meant tv, hahaha...I was super surprised to find out I had that odd channel, I have the Uverse 300 but am dropping it back down to the 200 plan just don't watch that much stuff...I think if you get BTN and the ESPNs you should be fine for the upcoming season

yep, way too close on that one and they let Duck Dynasty guy score way too many points...sorry Herky, didn't see your post, but you can read the recap on one of the sports sites to get the gist. It was an Iowa win as you can tell but it was closer than I had hoped.

We need to get back to playing defense a little bit. Scoring 90 per game is great but we arent going to do that every game so we for sure need to pick it up on D. Last 2 games we look like we are just trying to outscore people.

Agreed, although Notre Dame was actually a very good team at least offensively. I doubt many non-elite teams will put up more than 90 against us again. I saw Fran getting in Woodbury's face a few times last night letting that dude with the weird beard score on him again and again.

Hawks basketball ranked again, Hawks football with 8 wins and bowl-bound and just read that Hawks wrestling is #1 in the country where it belongs. Good times being a Hawk follower!

It was a good win for Iowa last night. I sure wish the Nova game was in the W column though.

Iowa's defense was suspect last night. I started very sluggish which is what I thought would happen. Notre Dame was able to enter the ball to the post too easily last night. I think Fran will address that as the schedule changes to conference games. So far, pretty solid for the Hoops team. Much to be pleased about.

Winning the close games is great to see. The next step is putting teams away earlier.
